These are the rules of the Plants vs. Zombies 2: Alternate UniverZ Wiki.
General
- Use English and English only at all times. This includes when making pages, user blogs, discussions posts and comments.
- You must be at least 13 years old to join wiki.gg. If you say you are under 13 or heard about it on another wiki, you will be blocked until your 13th birthday. This is not our rule; we have to have this rule according to Indie.io and the United States's Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). However you can simply not tell your age.
- Always follow Indie.io's Terms of Service.
- Swears are not allowed on mainspace unless referring to a swear usage by the developers or the Plants vs. Zombies 2: Alternate UniverZ mod itself.
- No spamming or vandalism. Page blanking will usually not be allowed by abuse filter. If you use your account to only vandalize, you will get an indefinite block.
- Opinions or speculations are not allowed on article pages. Keep it on your userpage, your blogs, or in discussions or comments.
- No undoing/reverting good edits without a good reason.
- If you have been blocked, do not create alternate accounts to avoid your block (sockpuppets).
- If you think that a major change to the wiki needs to be made, contact a moderator, administrator, or bureaucrat. In addition, add the reason why the change should be applied.
- If something is not listed here that is not appropriate to do, it does not mean you can do it without a punishment.
Articles
- Only content appearing in the Plants vs. Zombies 2: Alternate UniverZ mod can be included in pages. References to Plants vs. Zombies 2 vanilla are still permitted, but whole new pages about this is not allowed. Do not include any fanon content.
- Jokes are not completely banned from mainspace articles. This does not mean you are allowed to fill the entire page with jokes. Repeated violation of this will result in a ban.
- A level page must include a Tips and a Gallery section.
- The Tips section should only include certain tips to hint the player through the level, and not include a detailed strategy of how to beat the level.
- Users that are logged in may add screenshots of them playing the level in the Gallery section. Bonus commentary can be added in the image captions. A single user is not allowed to put more than three images in Gallery using the exact same strategy. When the user has more than ten images in the same Gallery, they may create their own custom sub-section in the Gallery.
- A zombie page should include these sections: Almanac entry, Overview (the zombie's detailed statistics), Encounters (all levels that the zombie is encountered in), and Strategies.
- A plant page should include these sections: Almanac entry, Costumes, and Strategies.
Uploads
- Images that will be used for Template:P must have "AUZ" at the end of the filename. (e.g. "PeashooterAUZ.png")
User Interactions
- Be friendly and try not to be be rude to others. No raiding, doxxing, or other things that are not considered civil.
- Discussions related to sensitive topics, such as: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, LGBTQphobia of any kind, antisemitism, ableism, etc - that is, slander/discrimination against social minorities and the like, etc. will result in an immediate indefinite ban.
