Pirate Seas

Pirate Seas is the 3rd area encountered in Alternate UniverZ. It takes place on a ship in the 'Golden Age of Piracy'.

The area's main gimmick are planks. They connect the zombies' ship to the player's, allowing zombies to passage normally onto your lawn. While some rows do not have any planks, they can still be attacked by zombies traveling halfway across the lawn.

In Pirate Seas, there are sometimes barrels. There will be a warning saying "Barrel Bane!", and barrels containing Barrel Bane Imps will be teleported onto your lawn. They function almost identical to the barrels of Barrel Roller Zombie, but the health of both the barrel and the imps have half the health.

In Pirate Seas Extra (PSX), there is also the "Parrotrousle!" ambush, in which multiple Parrotrousle Parrots fly in from the bottom of the lawn and attempts to grab away your plants. They function almost identical to normal Zombie Parrots, but they grab plants much faster, and can grab any plant, not just the frontmost one.
